Dr. Namrata Biyani and Geeta Mundra share mantras of self-control, communication, and positivity
Udaipur – Dialogue, balance, and the spirit of coexistence form the true foundation of a progressive society. True social progress begins with the well-being of every individual and every family. However, this progress is hindered by the growing trend of showmanship and unnecessary expenditure. Every responsible member of society must pledge to bring harmony between words and actions while restraining extravagance.
These thoughts were expressed by speakers during the second chapter of the “Manthan – From Problem to Solution” campaign, organized jointly by the Udaipur Nagar Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan and Maheshwari Friends Committee at Mahesh Seva Sansthan, Bhuwana, on Sunday. The theme of the session was “Bond or Burden – The Pain or Joy of the Inner Self”, focusing on issues such as the growing race for appearances and the weakening of family relationships.
Geeta Mundra, former National President of Akhil Bharatiya Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan, said that life becomes easier when one learns to accept some things and overlook others. She emphasized the need to blend traditional rituals and cultural practices with modern lifestyles, adding that controlling wasteful spending and maintaining consistency between speech and action is the essence of true culture.
Dr. Namrata Biyani, National Incharge of Ashta Siddha Samiti, delivered a presentation titled “Me and We Time”, highlighting the importance of self-balance and spending quality time in relationships. She suggested observing a “mobile fast” to enhance self-control and dedicate more time to loved ones. Dr. Biyani also encouraged everyone to adopt a sense of gratitude and focus on spreading positivity rather than blame or criticism.
Mayank Mundra, President of Udaipur Nagar Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan, informed that GST Assistant Commissioner Mohit Mundra, who presided over the event, shared that relationships are built through communication, and even when communication breaks down, love and patience can rebuild it.
According to Archit Palod, General Secretary of the organization, two short skits were presented by community members on related themes. During the event, social worker Poonam Bhadada was felicitated for being conferred with an Honorary Doctorate by the World Commission for Culture and Environment Protection, New Delhi, in recognition of her two decades of dedicated service to humanity and social welfare.
Treasurer Sudarshan Laddha shared that Raghav Kothari, State President of the Southern Rajasthan Regional Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan, graced the event as the Chief Guest and lauded the meaningfulness of the program. An open forum session was also held where participants shared their views.
The event began with a warm welcome of the guests and speakers by Administrative Officer Ramesh Bahediya, Former Councillor Ashish Kothari, Mahesh Seva Sansthan President Rajesh Rathi, Maheshwari Friends Committee members Rakesh Kabra, Bharat Baheti, Tarun Asawa, Darshan Asawa, Ashish Mundra, Punit Heda, Arpit Kalani, Mayank Dilip Mundra, Hitesh Mundra, Saurabh Laddha, and Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan District President Manju Gandhi.
