A hackathon grounded in innovation was organised under the joint auspices of Vigyan Samiti and the School Enterprise Association in Udaipur, where students from various schools participated to design technological solutions aimed at supporting specially-abled individuals. The event was attended in large numbers and was conducted with the objective of encouraging young minds to create practical, inclusive and socially impactful technologies.

According to Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma, enthusiastic participation was witnessed from Mahatma Gandhi Government School Dhanmandi, Mahatma Gandhi Government School Badgaon, Mahatma Gandhi Government School Jhadol, Vision Academy and Bal Shiksha Sadan. Students were placed into different groups where they engaged in developing assistive devices and technologies for persons with visual impairments, hearing impairments and physical disabilities. Each team worked with dedication to design tools that could enhance the daily lives of specially-abled individuals.

The programme was graced by the presence of Vigyan Samiti President Mahip Bhatnagar, College Head Dr. K.L. Kothari, Dr. K.L. Totawat, Dr. B.L. Chawat, Shanti Lal Bhandari, Engineer Ashok Kumar Jain and other distinguished guests. From the School Enterprise Association, Kailash Chandra Rawal, Lakshyaraj Singh, Anil Kumar, Harsha and Shweta were present and continuously guided the participating students throughout the event. The speakers appreciated the creativity, imagination and social commitment demonstrated by the students, stating that such events promote innovation and foster an inclusive outlook among the youth.

Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma praised the successful organisation of the event and stated that through this hackathon, young participants made a commendable effort to support specially-abled individuals using technology. Events of this nature not only strengthen students' technical knowledge but also cultivate humanitarian values and a sense of social responsibility. He expressed confidence that the inspiration drawn from this initiative would motivate students to develop even more advanced solutions in the future, making life easier and more accessible for everyone.

Vigyan Samiti announced that its internationally equipped robotic lab will continue to organise similar programmes regularly for students.
