Apnagar Ashram, Bedla — On Sunday, 16 November, from 3 PM to 5 PM, the 20-member musical troupe “Varishth Suron Ki Mandali” organized a soulful event titled “Surmai Dopahar” for 43 residents of Apnagar Ashram.

Founder Mukesh Madhwani explained that the event was aimed at bringing joy and enthusiasm into the daily lives of the residents through the power of music. The devotional performances began with Vimal Sharma singing Saraswati Vandana, which immediately got everyone moving to the rhythm.

The evening featured a variety of bhajans and songs, including Brijlal Soni (“Mewar”)’s “Racha Hai Srishti Ko Is Prabhu Ne”, Hema Joshi’s “Toot Gayi Hai Mala Moti”, Rajkumar Bapna’s “Om Namah Shivay”, H. Kazi’s “Chal Akela Chal Akela”, Vimal Sharma’s “Ik Pyar Ka Nagma”, Narayan Salvi’s “Tum Aaj Mere Sang Hanslo”, Lalit Kumar Jain’s “Radhika Gori Se”, Vrinda Sharma’s “Nand Baba Ne”, Kamal Juneja’s “Zindagi Ek Kiraye Ka Ghar Hai”, Gopal Gothwal’s “Tan Man Dhan Sab Hai Tera”, Vishnu Vaishnav’s “Ram Janaki Baithe Hain”, and Vijaya Ameta’s “Manihari Ka Bhesh Banaya”. Three residents also performed bhajans, adding to the musical delight.

Gopal Kaneria, President of Apnagar Ashram, welcomed the troupe members and introduced the ashram to the audience, mentioning that so far, 105 residents have been reunited with their families through the ashram’s initiatives.

The event was attended by Vinod Joshi, Gopal Kaneria, Manju Sharma, Ashok Kothari, Prakash Chandra Joshi, Lakshmi Narayan Kumawat, Rajesh Garg, Hemendra Talesra, Sunil Chauhan, Bhupendra Sharma, Gopi Lal Dangi, Subhash Mehta, Praveen Chaplot, and Hemendra Talesra, who all enjoyed the musical afternoon.

The gathering provided an atmosphere of joy, devotion, and togetherness, leaving the residents uplifted and inspired.
