Udaipur – Renowned city artist Dr. Chandraprakash Chittoda has created a short booklet on Rajasthan’s traditional folk dance, Ghoomar. The booklet was officially released by Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena during the division-level Ghoomar Festival held at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur.

MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat and BJP City District President Gajpal Singh also reviewed the booklet and praised the artist for his work. Tourism Department Joint Director Shikha Saxena, along with other dignitaries present at the event, also appreciated Chittoda’s artistic contribution.

In this publication, Dr. Chittoda has beautifully captured the history of Ghoomar, accompanied by vibrant illustrations of women performing the dance in traditional colorful attire.
