Udaipur. The renowned literary organization Lafzon Ki Mehfil hosted its monthly poetry gathering and felicitation ceremony on Sunday at the banquet hall of Ashoka Palace. The event brought together several senior and emerging poets of the city, who captivated the audience with their creative presentations.
Founder Mukesh Madhwani informed that certificates of appreciation were presented to all participants of the poetry competition held in October.
Subhash Agarwal “Saki” secured the first position, Manohar Dembla stood second, and the third position was awarded to Mrs. Nutan Bedi. All three were honoured with special awards and trophies. Veteran litterateur Dr. Srinivasan Ayyer was also felicitated with a turban, shawl, uparaṇa, a citation, and a memento.
Coordinator Pt. Purushottam Shakdvipi “Premi” shared that today’s poetry session witnessed impressive presentations from Dr. Shahid Iqbal Sheikh, Kamal Prakash Mehta, Manohar Dembla, Shahid Hussain Shaida, Bansilal Lohar, Pt. Purushottam Shakdvipi “Premi,” Prakash Tated, Asma Begum, Prof. Vimal Sharma, Dr. Sheetal Shrimali, Amrita Bokadiya, Ishwar Jain Kaustubh, Gulzar Chittorgarhi, Subhash Agarwal, Sanjay Gupta Devesh, Sabira Palanawala, Vinod Upadhyay, Shad Udaipuri, Hemlata Verma, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Mamta Mahatma, Sanjay Vyas, Shyam Mathpal, Advocate Riyaz Khan, Shakeel Alauddin, Sakina Alam Shah, Nutan Vedi, Kumar Harish “Amit,” Dr. Srinivasan Ayyer, Priya Sumit Kataria, Sapna Jain Shah, Prakash Tated, and Dakshesh Paneri, whose recitations added charm and prestige to the event.
The evening concluded with warm appreciation for all contributors, marking another successful session by Lafzon Ki Mehfil.
