The Mahavir Navyuvak Mandal, Sundarwas (Udaipur) successfully organized the Panch Tirth and Sanatan Dharma Yatra, in which 350 pilgrims participated with great joy, devotion, and enthusiasm. Continuing their spiritual journey, the pilgrims reached Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram and an important center of Jain faith, before returning to Udaipur.

Providing details, Mandals’ Secretary Shri Bhupesh Khamesra informed that the 11-day grand pilgrimage commenced from Udaipur by train and reached Shri Sammed Shikharji via Patliputra by bus. From there, the journey proceeded through Rijubalika Tirth, Lachhwadji Tirth, Kakandi Tirth, Guniya Ji Tirth, Rajgir Tirth, Pavapuri Tirth, Nalanda, and Kundalpur Tirth, finally reaching Varanasi (Banaras) on the occasion of the New Year.

In Varanasi, pilgrims sought blessings at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kaal Bhairav (Kotwal of Kashi), and the birthplace of the 23rd Jain Tirthankar, Lord Parshwanath. After this, the group traveled from Varanasi to Ayodhya, which is not only the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, but also the birthplace of five Jain Tirthankars:

* First Tirthankar Lord Rishabhdev
* Second Tirthankar Lord Ajitnath
* Fourth Tirthankar Lord Abhinandan Swami
* Fifth Tirthankar Lord Sumatinath
* Fourteenth Tirthankar Lord Anantnath

Ayodhya is also the sacred birthplace of Lord Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughan.

Cultural Minister Shri Mahavir Vaya shared that the pilgrims stayed together continuously for ten days, enjoying the journey with devotion, enthusiasm, and mutual harmony. Daily bhajans, dances, and cultural programs were organized with the accompaniment of dhol and nagadas. The Mandal’s well-organized catering system ensured delicious and pure meals for all pilgrims. At Pavapuri, renowned devotional singer Vicky D. Parikh mesmerized the pilgrims with his bhajans, leaving everyone deeply moved.

Yatra Convenor Ashutosh Dhing stated that special attention was given to comfortable accommodation, smooth transportation, and excellent time management, which was widely appreciated by all participants. Secretary Bhupesh Khamesra also took continuous care of the health of senior citizens and pilgrims, distributing necessary medicines from time to time, ensuring the journey remained safe, well-organized, and enjoyable.

The Mandal expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lokesh Kothari, Ayush Bhanawat, and Piyush Jhagadawat for their valuable support in managing the arrangements.

The entire pilgrimage concluded safely, and on 03.01.2026, all pilgrims arrived at Udaipur Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station, where they were warmly welcomed with dhol-nagadas, flower showers, and traditional hospitality by members of the Mahavir Navyuvak Mandal and the community.

Mandal President Praveen Nahar, along with his entire team, greeted all the pilgrims, inquired about their well-being, and conveyed best wishes for continued good health and the overall success of the sacred journey.
