Udaipur. On the occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, observed as Martyrs’ Day, a two-minute silence was observed at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the auditorium of the Excise Building to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi and all the martyrs who sacrificed everything for the nation.

On Martyrs’ Day, Additional Excise Commissioner Pradeep Singh Sangawat paid floral tribute and offered garlands to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi as a mark of respect. Other officers and staff members also remembered the sacrifices of the Father of the Nation and the martyrs by observing a two-minute silence.

On this occasion, Financial Advisor Sunita Vijay, along with officers and staff from all sections, were present.
