Udaipur: Renowned sculptor and record holder Dr. Chandraprakash Chittora of Udaipur created several new artworks to mark his “Inspiration Day,” commemorating his artistic journey. Dr. Chittora shared that on this day, February 23, 2003, his first artwork was unveiled by the former Vice President of India, the late Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, who encouraged him to continue pursuing his artistic passion.

Inspired by Shekhawat’s guidance, Dr. Chittora went on to establish a Handicraft Art Center. Over the past 23 years, the center has achieved numerous world records, bringing recognition to Udaipur and the Mewar–Vagad region on national and international platforms.

On this occasion, Kunwar Vijay Singh Kachhwaha, President of Shri Mewar Sagasji Lokseva Sansthan, unveiled a miniature artwork based on the life of the late Shekhawat. He stated that, inspired by Shekhawat’s legacy, Dr. Chittora has announced free training for youth at the Miniature Sculpture Art Center, ensuring that Shekhawat’s memory continues to inspire future generations.
