Udaipur: Additional Director of the Ayurveda Department, Ajmer, Jyoti Kakwani, on Monday inspected the Government Model Ayurveda Dispensary located at Sindhi Bazaar and reviewed the facilities and various public-oriented activities being conducted there.

Senior Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. Shobhalal Audichya said Kakwani reviewed the medicine distribution system, cleanliness arrangements, Panchakarma medical camp, Swarn Prashan programme and record-keeping practices at the dispensary.

She appreciated the well-organised functioning of the regular Panchakarma medical camps and expressed satisfaction with the services being provided to patients. She also interacted with the staff and sought details about the Panchakarma treatments and facilities available to patients.

Kakwani also reviewed the Swarn Prashan programme conducted at the dispensary and took information about the services being provided to children. She particularly appreciated the systematic maintenance of records and documents related to the programme.

During the inspection, she also assessed the medicine distribution arrangements and cleanliness of the dispensary premises. She expressed satisfaction with the overall cleanliness, management and functioning of the facility and appreciated the efforts of the doctors and staff.

Doctors and all employees of the dispensary were present during the inspection and briefed the Additional Director about the activities and services being provided to the public.
