Udaipur: The 32nd Foundation Day of Central Public Senior Secondary School (CPS), New Bhupalpura, was celebrated with enthusiasm and in a dignified atmosphere on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The programme was attended by Dr Alka Sharma, Chairperson of CPS and Rockwoods, former student Ramesh Chaudhary, who was selected in the 2025 UPSC examination, along with members of the school management, teachers and students.

The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a melodious group song presented by the students. The performance created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration. Students who had been associated with the institution since its early years were also felicitated on the occasion.

Class XII students Mishti Tank and Manshika Nagda shared their experiences of school life and spoke about the role of CPS in shaping their personalities. They said the education, guidance and values received at the institution had contributed significantly to their overall development.

The cultural segment featured an impressive classical dance performance by the students, which was widely appreciated by the audience and added colour to the celebrations.

Former student Ramesh Chaudhary, who achieved success in the 2025 UPSC examination, delivered an inspiring address. He encouraged students to remain committed to their goals and stressed the importance of continuous practice, discipline and hard work. Recalling his school days, he expressed gratitude to CPS and its teachers for the education and guidance that contributed to his success.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Alka Sharma, Chairperson of CPS and Rockwoods, said that the growth journey of any institution is shaped by the collective contribution of many people. She said that support, teamwork and the courage to face challenges help an institution progress and achieve its goals. She also highlighted the institution’s commitment to providing students with quality education and opportunities for their overall development.

The programme was attended by Director Administration Anil Sharma, Director Dr Deepak Sharma, Joint Director Vikramjeet Singh Shekhawat, Administrator Sunil Babel, Principal Poonam Rathore and Headmistress Krishna Shaktawat, along with teachers and staff members.
