Udaipur: A three-day mega public awareness exhibition, “Ujjwal Rajasthan 3.0,” was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Hotel Yois, Udaipur, on Thursday. Being held from August 20 to 22, the exhibition will remain open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is being organised under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Udaipur.

The inaugural ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest Dr. Rajni P. Rawat, social worker and General Secretary of Vananchal Shiksha Samiti, Udaipur, along with other dignitaries.

The event was also attended by distinguished guests, including Nidhi Trivedi, Ecosystem Engagement Manager–West, Bhashini; Dr. Hari Shankar Srivastava, Scientist-G and Group Head, PPEG, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Dehradun; Ravi Kumar Negi, Divisional Manager, Banking, LIC; and Alpesh Madhad, Project Head, Gujarat Informatics Limited.

“Future of Udaipur” Emerges as a Key Theme

The exhibition’s special theme, “Future of Udaipur,” highlights the city’s potential in infrastructure, tourism, industrial development, sustainability, education, technology and socio-economic progress. It also showcases Udaipur’s potential contribution to the vision of “Viksit Rajasthan” and “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

The exhibition brings together various Central Government ministries, public sector undertakings, Rajasthan Government departments, research and educational institutions, and financial organisations. Through interactive displays, live demonstrations and expert interactions, visitors are being provided information about government schemes, policies and development initiatives.

A Useful Platform for Students, Youth, Farmers and Entrepreneurs

The exhibition has a special focus on students, youth, farmers, entrepreneurs and the general public. Visitors can learn about government schemes, policies, career opportunities, emerging technologies, skill development and entrepreneurship.

Prominent participating institutions include ICAR, ICMR, FSSAI, CSIR, DBT, BIS, GSI, RBI, IIRS, FCI, Bank of Baroda, NFSU, CIPET, CPWD and NIC, among several other reputed institutions.

The event has received support from PNB as Gold Sponsor, Deendayal Port Authority as Silver Sponsor, and Bhashini as Bronze Sponsor. Tea Board India, SIDBI, LIC and SBI are also supporting the initiative.

“Ujjwal Rajasthan 3.0” is open to the public free of charge. The exhibition will continue on August 21 and 22 at Hotel Yois, Udaipur.
