UDAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and BJP state president Madan Rathore on Friday welcomed Udaipur MP Dr Mannalal Rawat at the Assembly office in Jaipur and congratulated him on his appointment as national president of the BJP Scheduled Tribes (ST) Morcha.

Sharma and Rathore presented Rawat with bouquets and extended their best wishes, expressing confidence that he would work for the upliftment of the ST community, strengthen the party organisation and safeguard the rights of tribal communities under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of BJP national president Nitin Nabin.

Former MLA and 2024 Lok Sabha candidate from Dausa, Kanhaiyalal Meena, also met Rawat and congratulated him.

Several senior BJP leaders met Rawat in Jaipur throughout the day to extend their greetings following his appointment.
