Udaipur: A two-day district-level seminar for Physical Education Teachers under Secondary Education-II commenced on Friday at the Government Senior Secondary School, Mangthala, in Udaipur district. Teachers from government and private secondary and senior secondary schools across eight blocks participated in the programme. Chief Guest District Education Officer Deepak Gaur urged physical education teachers to perform their responsibilities with dedication and introduce innovative practices in school sports while maintaining the dignity of their institutions and the Education Department. Deputy District Education Officer Laxman Das Vaishnav said the seminar aims to update teachers on the latest developments in school sports. Expert sessions were conducted by Dr. Naresh Paliwal on volleyball, Narpat Singh on softball, and Balveer Singh Rathore on online team registration and revised competition rules. Participants also received training on the Shala Darpan online registration process and the latest School Games Federation of India (SGFI) regulations governing school-level competitions.
