Udaipur: Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, organized a special awareness session for around 600 students of Classes 9 and 10 under the Transforming Tuesday campaign being conducted by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA), Jaipur.

The session was addressed by Randhir Singh Mirdha, judicial officer at the Family Court, Udaipur. The theme of the session was “Stranger Danger – No, Go, Tell.”

Mirdha advised students to remain cautious around unfamiliar people and to recognize situations in which they feel uncomfortable, unsafe or threatened. He encouraged them to immediately move away from such situations, inform a trusted person and respond with confidence and courage.

He stressed that awareness and open communication are essential for personal safety. Students should not hesitate to speak about uncomfortable experiences or situations so that they can seek timely assistance from parents, teachers or other trusted adults.

He also cautioned students about harmful behaviour that can cause fear and mental distress, emphasizing that awareness and timely reporting can play an important role in preventing such situations from escalating. He urged students to inform their school authorities if they encounter any suspicious person or unsafe situation or receive relevant information so that appropriate assistance can be provided.

DPS Udaipur Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal said awareness programmes focusing on student safety should be organized regularly to help children build confidence and remain alert.

Principal Sanjay Narwaria welcomed the guest and said that if every member of society remains vigilant and responds to difficult situations with awareness and sound judgment, many problems can be prevented from escalating. He expressed his gratitude to Mirdha for conducting the session.
