Udaipur: As part of the celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Prakriti Research Society.

The ceremony was attended by Society President Dr. P.R. Vyas, Chief Guest Town Planner Satish Shrimali, Special Guests Professor Vimal Sharma and Dr. Rakesh Dashora, along with other members of the organization.

Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma informed that following the flag hoisting, a programme was organized in the auditorium, where all the speakers emphasized the need for the conservation and protection of the environment, water resources, forests, and the Aravalli region.

All monitoring teams were directed to submit their status assessment reports within one month. Based on these reports, a task force will be constituted to plan and undertake further necessary action for the protection and conservation of these vital natural resources.
