Udaipur: Suvas Ayurveda was formally inaugurated near Pratap Gaurav Kendra at Tiger Hill in Udaipur. Suhana, founder of Suvas Ayurveda, said the centre aims to reconnect people with Ayurveda amid increasingly unhealthy lifestyles and provide accessible, holistic healthcare.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by former Rajasthan AYUSH Secretary Jitendra Kumar Upadhyay, newly elected councillor Shakuntala Tank, Kausar Bano, Arif Mohammed, Dr. Ruhi Zaheer, Dr. Iqbal Gauri of Triple M Ayurveda College, Tagore Public School Director Bhanwar Kunwar Rajawat, and Chandresh Sharma, among others. Students of the Ayurveda college also participated in the programme.

Speakers highlighted that Ayurveda focuses on understanding an individual’s Vata, Pitta and Kapha constitution and pulse before determining treatment. They said Ayurveda, rooted in ancient Indian texts, is gaining recognition worldwide, while people in India are increasingly turning towards allopathic treatment.

Specialised Care for Chronic Conditions

Dr. Puneet Sharma said the centre will offer Panchakarma, Agnikarma, specialised OPD services and Ayurvedic facials, along with specialised care related to neurological, urological and oncological conditions. Such facilities, he said, remain limited in the state.

The centre will also provide Ayurvedic wellness programmes and therapeutic support for conditions such as migraine. Through yoga, meditation and health-awareness conferences, the institution plans to connect children, young people and senior citizens with Ayurveda and encourage healthier lifestyles.
