Udaipur: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional Vedic rituals at Central Public Senior Secondary School in New Bhupalpura, Udaipur.

School Chairperson Dr. Alka Sharma narrated the story of Lord Ganesha, the deity of wisdom and remover of obstacles, to the students and explained the significance of the festival. The school premises resonated with devotional fervour as students and staff joined the celebrations to the chants of “Jai Ganesh, Jai Ganesh Deva.” The idol of Lord Ganesha was worshipped as per traditional rituals with Vedic mantras and prayers.

Reyansh Mulchandani, dressed as Lord Ganesha, was taken around the school campus by the students amid enthusiastic chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

The celebration was attended by Chairperson Dr. Alka Sharma, Director Administration Mr. Anil Sharma, Director Dr. Deepak Sharma, Joint Director Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shekhawat, Administrator Mr. Sunil Babel, Principal Mrs. Poonam Rathore and Headmistress Mrs. Krishna Shaktawat.

At the conclusion of the programme, Chairperson Dr. Alka Sharma distributed prasad among the teachers. Prasad was also distributed among the students in their respective classrooms.
