Udaipur: The idol consecration ceremony of the newly constructed Shri Koteswar Mahadev and Sankatmochan Bajrangbali Temple in Modern Valley Colony was held with devotion and religious fervour. A large number of devotees from the colony and nearby areas participated in the auspicious occasion.

The ceremony was jointly organised by Arogya Seva Sansthan and the residents of Modern Valley Colony. The idols of Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman were consecrated through traditional rituals, prayers, religious ceremonies and Vedic chanting. The entire temple premises remained immersed in a spiritual atmosphere throughout the programme.

Following the consecration, a grand Maha Aarti was performed. Devotees then enthusiastically participated in a Bhajan-Kirtan programme, singing and dancing to devotional songs. The celebrations continued until late at night, with the temple premises resonating with chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Bajrangbali’.

The programme concluded with a community feast and distribution of prasad. Residents said the temple would become an important centre of faith while promoting cultural values, harmony and positive energy in the community.
