Udaipur: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur Divas organised a teachers’ felicitation and service programme at Government Upper Primary School, Barodiya, Badgaon. The event honoured teachers for their contribution to education while also featuring several service activities for students.

Club President Nayana Jain said Headmistress Neetu Sharma and nine other teachers were felicitated with coconuts, Inner Wheel Divas uparnas, Leheriya dupattas and special certificates. The club expressed gratitude for their contribution to society and nation-building. Kanta Jodhawat was the special guest.

Students received uniforms, shoes, sports equipment, toys and food items from the club. They also presented colourful cultural performances, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration. Students participating in the performances were encouraged with consolation prizes.

Club Founder Rekha Bhanawat said teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of society. She added that honouring educators and supporting children’s overall development are key aspects of the club’s service mission.

She said the club developed the Barodiya school as a ‘Happy School’ in 2024 and has since continued supporting its development and student needs.

Club Vice President Asha Shrimali, Bela Vyas, Preeti Shrimali and other members attended the programme. School teacher and club member Girja Nahar extended special support in organising the event successfully.
