Udaipur,On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, members of Time Bank of India organized a special cultural and service program at Maa Draupadi Devi Anand Old Age Home. Thirty members of the organization spent the evening with 60 residents of the home, bringing moments of joy and happiness into their lives.

The program began with a welcome address by Udaipur Time Bank head, Mr. M.K. Mathur, who greeted all senior residents and highlighted the concept and activities of the Time Bank. Mr. Mathur explained how Time Bank members contribute to society by serving the elderly, helping to reduce their loneliness. Members accompany them for outings, deliver medicines, and assist during illness.

The main attraction of the event was a cultural evening titled “An Evening for Seniors”, featuring songs, music, games, and entertainment activities. The elderly participated with full enthusiasm. Captivating performances by Prof. Vimal Sharma, C.P. Jain, Sanjay Gupta, and others enlivened the atmosphere, encouraging the seniors to even dance along.

At the conclusion, winners of games and seniors who performed devotional songs were honored with prizes. The event ended with a peace prayer, in which all participants joined together.

This initiative by Time Bank of India was widely appreciated for spreading positive energy in the lives of senior citizens. On this occasion, Time Bank members also donated 100 new caps and 50 bedsheets with pillow covers to the old age home.
