Sri Ganganagar: Lions Club Sri Ganganagar Royals organised a special Teachers’ Day programme, ‘Aap Hain Toh Hum Hain’, to honour educators for their valuable contribution to education and their notable achievements. A total of 11 teachers were felicitated during the programme.

The event was held at a hotel in Gol Bazaar, where Deepak Pathak, Gautam Bansal, Subhash Sidana, Sachin Kakkar, Dr Jaspreet Singh, Parvinder Singh Alag, Aradhana Pahwa, Pankaj Pahwa, Rohitash Sharma, Anju Bala and Raj Ladoiya were honoured for their dedication and contribution to the field of education.

Club President Vinamra Bihani said that after parents, teachers have one of the deepest influences on a person’s life. “A teacher does not merely impart knowledge from books but also shapes a student’s character, values and way of thinking,” he said.

Club Secretary Sunandam Mahipal said the hard work of teachers is reflected in the personality, achievements and success of their students.

Region Chairman Deepak Watts said teachers are the strong foundation on which the future of the nation is built. Region Chairman Arun Lohia said that despite changing times and the growing influence of modern technology, the importance of teachers can never diminish.

District PRO Ashish Arora said programmes honouring teachers send a positive message to society and help recognise the invaluable contribution of educators.

The teachers who were felicitated appreciated the initiative of Lions Club Sri Ganganagar Royals and expressed their gratitude for the recognition.

Treasurer Himanshu Jain, Dinesh Bansal, Jatin Jasuja, Kapish Mohanka, Tarun Jain, Tushar Jindal, Sachin Singla, Nishant Arora, Anil Mamnani, Mohit Goyal, Harsh Chittlangia, Sahil Bajaj, Lavish Chhabra, Anmol Khurana, Vatsal Khemka, Siddharth Rai Mangla, Shubham Arora, Tushar Bansal and other club members were present at the programme.
