Udaipur: The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the College of Community and Applied Sciences, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), organised an industrial visit for students as part of the course on Current Food Processing and Technology.
During the educational visit, students toured the cold drink manufacturing plant of C.P. Agro Enterprises at Kaladwas. They observed various stages of industrial beverage production, including bottle manufacturing, beverage preparation, filling, sealing, labelling, packaging, and storage of finished products. The visit provided students with practical exposure to food processing and packaging techniques studied in the classroom.
C.P. Agro Enterprises proprietor C.P. Sir guided the students through the plant’s different units and explained the functioning of machinery, production processes, packaging techniques, quality control, and hygiene standards.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of Department Head Dr. Renu Mogra and Dr. Khushboo Gurjar, with 30 students participating. The industrial exposure strengthened their technical and practical knowledge and familiarised them with modern food and beverage manufacturing practices.
