Udaipur, The literary organisation Navkriti Sanstha, Udaipur, organised a poetic gathering (Kavi Goshthi and Mushaira) in honour of renowned poetess and literary personality Dr. Naseema Nisha, who visited Udaipur from Banaras. Sharing this information, Navkriti President Ramdayal Mehra said that the programme was held at the auditorium of Arya Samaj, Hiran Magri. The gathering was presided over by poet and shayar Dr. Hemendra Chandaliya, while Aasama Begum conducted the proceedings. The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandana presented by Manmohan Madhukar, followed by poetry recitations reflecting diverse themes, emotions and literary expressions. As the chief guest, Dr. Naseema Nisha presented a composition celebrating India's Ganga-Jamuni culture, which received warm appreciation from the audience. Her verses beautifully conveyed the message of communal harmony, mutual respect and cultural unity: “Dekho to deewar kahan hai, Do dhaari talwar kahan hai, Ganga jal jo chahe pee le, Mazhab pehredaar kahan hai.” Her poetry highlighted the spirit of togetherness and the shared cultural heritage of India, transcending religious boundaries. Another composition by Dr. Naseema Nisha, dedicated to daughters, was also widely appreciated by the gathering: “Betiyaan hain to ghar nirala hai, Ghar mein inse hi ujala hai.” The verses celebrated the importance of daughters in enriching family life and bringing happiness and light into homes. At the beginning of the programme, the organisation's founder and general secretary welcomed the guests and also presented his poetic compositions. Dr. Pramila Singhvi was present as the distinguished guest. Several eminent poets and literary personalities participated in the gathering and presented their compositions. These included Dr. Nirmal Garg, Dr. Laiq Hussain, Dr. Vimal Sharma, Shad Udaipuri, Mukesh Parwana Ajmeri, Iqbal Sagar, Brajesh Kumar Mishra, Sabira Rani, Sagarmal Sarraf, Shahid Hussain Shaida, Subhash Sharma, Riaz Ahmed Kandhari, Dr. Rajgopal, Rashid Jaipuri, Sarita Kanwar Rao, Gulzar Chittorgarhi, Jagveer Singh Kanawat, Murlidhar Gattani, Indira Savdhani and Manohar, among others.
