Udaipur: Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Neerja Modi School, run by Sojatia Group, where young students dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha presented a series of colourful performances.
The celebrations featured tableaux depicting various phases of Lord Krishna’s life, including glimpses of his childhood leelas. Young girls, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, presented group dances to devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna, creating a festive atmosphere and delighting the audience.
On the occasion, institution chairman Dr. Mahendra Sojatia extended Janmashtami greetings to everyone and said Lord Krishna’s life continues to be a source of inspiration for all. He said the wisdom imparted by Krishna through the Bhagavad Gita offers guidance for dealing with challenges and difficulties in life.
School director Sakshi Sojatia encouraged the young participants dressed as Krishna and Radha and appreciated their performances. She said Lord Krishna inspires people to remain steadfast in truth and values even during difficult circumstances.
The celebrations highlighted the importance of Indian culture, traditions and spiritual values among children.
