Udaipur: Speaking at a religious gathering organised under the aegis of Shri Vardhaman Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh, Udaipur, Dr. Surendra Muni said the greatest strength of human life is the power of thought. A person’s life is shaped by the way they think, making purity, positivity and wisdom in one’s thoughts essential for a meaningful life.
He said the human mind is like a mirror. Just as a mirror reflects whatever is placed before it, the thoughts nurtured in the mind are reflected through a person’s conduct and behaviour. Regardless of circumstances, an individual can give them a positive direction through the right mindset and perspective.
Dr. Surendra Muni said life constantly presents people with different situations, including happiness and sorrow, gain and loss, and favourable and unfavourable circumstances. A person’s true test lies in how they respond to these situations with balanced thinking and self-restraint. If the mind remains filled with goodwill, wisdom and introspection, even difficult circumstances can become opportunities for personal growth and a new direction in life.
He urged people to consciously cultivate positive thoughts every day. Developing compassion, love and goodwill towards others is the foundation of true spirituality, he said. A person’s greatest wealth is not material prosperity but purity of thought and good intentions. Positive feelings guide an individual towards spiritual well-being and ultimately towards the path of liberation.
Addressing the devotees present at the gathering, Pravartak So. Rajendra Muni urged them to embrace positive thinking, self-discipline and goodwill in their daily lives and to spread good values within their families and society through their conduct.
