Udaipur: A special seminar on Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies was organised at the Department of Computer Science & IT, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, in collaboration with The Smart Minds AI Lab. The programme was organised under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manju Mandot with the objective of familiarising students with rapidly evolving technologies, their practical applications and emerging career opportunities.
The seminar was conducted by Er. Ashish Gupta, CEO,
The Smart Minds AI Lab, and Er. Parikshit Singh Rathore, Director and
Drone & AI Engineer. The experts provided students with insights into
the fundamentals, practical applications and future prospects of Robotics and
Artificial Intelligence.
During the seminar, students were introduced to emerging
technologies including Drone Technology, Internet of Things (IoT),
Automation, Computer Vision, Embedded Systems and Autonomous Systems. The
speakers also discussed the growing applications of these technologies across
various sectors and the career opportunities emerging in these fields.
The major highlight of the seminar was the live
interaction of students with ‘UDAY – Udaipur Digital Artificial Intelligence
Robot’, a humanoid robot. Students had the opportunity to interact with
UDAY and experience first-hand how Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and
Human-Machine Interaction can be integrated to develop intelligent and
interactive robotic systems.
The seminar also provided students with valuable
information about academic and career opportunities in areas such as Robotics
Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Drone Technology, Automation, Embedded
Systems, Computer Vision, IoT, Autonomous Systems, Research and Technology
Entrepreneurship.
The interactive session provided students with practical
exposure to future technologies and encouraged them to develop themselves as technology
creators, innovators and problem-solvers, while preparing for the rapidly
changing technological landscape.
At the conclusion of the programme, Dr. Dilip
Chaudhary proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the guests
and all those present. Dr. Manish Shrimali, Dr. Bharat Singh Deora, Dr. Gaurav
Garg, Dr. Pradeep Singh Shaktawat, Dr. Bharat Sukhwal, Dr. Lalit Salvi, Mukesh
Nath, Durga Shankar, Manoj Yadav, Tribhuvan Singh and Mansi Nagar, along
with students of the department, were present on the occasion.
