Sriganganagar: Priti Gaurav Wadhwa, daughter-in-law of late Trilok Chand Wadhwa, former president of the Shri Arorvansh Sanatan Dharma Mandir Trust, brought recognition to Sriganganagar through her growing work in the health and wellness sector in Chandigarh.
On Teachers’ Day, Wadhwa was invited as the guest speaker at a Health and Wellness Talk organised for the teaching and non-teaching staff of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh. She focused on the importance of preventive healthcare and urged participants to pay greater attention to the quality of the water they drink and the food they consume.
During her address, Wadhwa asked the audience to consider not only how much water they drink each day, but also whether it is of good quality. Similarly, she highlighted the need to be conscious of the nutritional quality of food amid today’s busy lifestyles.
She explained that food is not merely a means of satisfying hunger but a fundamental component of healthy living. Presenting practical and easy-to-follow suggestions, she encouraged the audience to incorporate healthier habits into their daily routines.
Wadhwa emphasised that healthcare should not be limited to treating illness. Awareness and preventive measures before illness occurs are equally important for maintaining long-term well-being.
The event marked another milestone in Wadhwa’s journey from Sriganganagar to establishing an independent identity in Chandigarh’s health and wellness space. Staff members appreciated her simple, practical and relatable approach to health awareness.
Late Trilok Chand Wadhwa was a prominent social worker and former president of the Arorvansh Sabha. He also owned Wadhwa Golden Transport and was actively involved in community service. Wadhwa’s growing work in health and wellness reflects her continued commitment to contributing meaningfully to society.
