St. Mary’s Convent Senior Secondary School, New Fatehpura, Udaipur, delivered an outstanding performance at the CBSE Cluster XIV Basketball Championship 2026, held in Sri Ganganagar from August 15 to 19. The school’s U-14 and U-19 girls’ teams won gold medals in their respective categories, bringing pride to the school and the city of Udaipur.

The U-14 team secured the gold medal for the third consecutive time, while the U-19 team won the title for the first time. U-19 captain Yuvakshi Mehta and U-14 captain Vidushi Shrimali led their teams with confidence and determination. Yashasvi Jain (U-14) and Dhruvika Damani (U-19) were named the Best Players of the championship.

School coach Narendra Singh Chauhan was honoured with the Best Coach Award, while the school also received the award for the Best Disciplined Team.

On their return to the school, Principal Sister Kiran Jojo welcomed and congratulated the victorious players and coaches. She praised their hard work, outstanding performance and team spirit, and wished them success in the upcoming national championship.

Both teams will now represent Rajasthan at the National Basketball Championship to be held in Bihar in September. The players are determined to continue their winning performance at the national level and bring further glory to Rajasthan and Udaipur.
