Udaipur: Addressing the ongoing Chaturmas Pravachan series at Devendradham, Dr. Surendra Muni said that while a person may enjoy the fruits of past good deeds, equal attention must be given to maintaining purity and righteousness in present actions.
He said that the fruits of virtuous deeds can provide comfort and material well-being, but wealth earned through unethical means ultimately becomes a source of stress, unrest and suffering. He urged people to rely on income earned through hard work and honesty.
Dr. Surendra Muni cautioned that comparing one’s financial status with others and attempting to earn wealth through similar but improper means can lead a person onto the wrong path. The consequences of unethical earnings, he said, do not remain limited to an individual but can adversely affect the entire family.
Emphasising dharma, good conduct, self-discipline and sincere effort as the foundations of life, he said that ethical values should be reflected in both business and everyday behaviour. Good deeds cultivate compassion, forgiveness and self-awareness within an individual.
On the occasion, Dr. Rajendra Muni also addressed the religious gathering, highlighting the importance of virtuous deeds and encouraging devotees to follow a life rooted in morality, discipline and spirituality.
A large number of devotees from Bathinda, Ludhiana, Panipat, Delhi, Surat and several other regions attended the religious discourse and benefited from the spiritual teachings.
