Udaipur: Tirupati College of Nursing, Udaipur, affiliated with Pacific Medical University, organised an induction and orientation programme to welcome newly admitted students and provide them with a positive beginning to their academic journey. The new students were welcomed in accordance with traditional customs by applying kumkum tilak.

The new academic session was formally inaugurated by Pacific Medical University President Dr. M.M. Mangal, PMCH Principal and Controller Dr. U.S. Parihar, Dean Research Dr. R.K. Paliwal and Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Dr. K.C. Yadav, by lighting the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati. The college faculty warmly welcomed the students and their parents and extended best wishes for their academic journey.

Tirupati College of Nursing Principal (UG) and programme coordinator Dr. Sanjay Nagda said the orientation programme aimed to familiarise new students with the college environment and develop a sense of belonging and confidence. He said entering college marks an important stage in a student's life and provides the foundation for future academic and professional growth.

Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Dr. K.C. Yadav welcomed the students and parents to the Tirupati College of Nursing and Pacific Medical University family. He described nursing as a respected and responsible profession that requires knowledge, skills and a strong spirit of service. He urged students to remain focused on their goals and make the best use of the academic opportunities available to them.

Dr. Yadav also emphasised that success is not measured by marks alone but requires discipline, consistent effort, effective time management and commitment.

Principal (PG) Dr. Sunil Joshi highlighted the importance of nursing education in developing practical skills, sensitivity, compassion and professional responsibility. Academic In-charge Dr. Harish Kumar Kumawat encouraged students to maintain regularity, discipline and dedication in their studies.

Administrator Vishal Chauhan said the programme aimed to build confidence, a positive outlook and a sense of responsibility among new students while introducing them to the institution’s culture and values.

The programme was supported by Chetna Paliwal, Vivek Chaubisa, Gajendra Sargada, Dhanraj Prajapat, Bhumi Nimawat, Ishika Vaishnav, Deepika Vasita, Anamika Panwar, Aryan Menaria and Kunal Lohar. Khushbu Vaishnav conducted the programme.
