Udaipur: Udaipur witnessed a major employment drive on Tuesday as the Rajasthan Hotelier Club and RRCS Hospitality Job Fair 2026 brought together more than 500 aspiring hospitality professionals and over 35 leading hotels and resorts at Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU). The event emerged as a major platform for connecting local talent with the tourism and hospitality industry, with around 250 candidates securing employment opportunities.

The turnout surpassed expectations, with organisers initially anticipating around 300 participants. More than 500 candidates attended the fair, where participating hotels and resorts conducted interviews and shortlisted candidates on the spot.

The job fair attracted not only freshers but also young professionals already working in the hotel industry who were seeking better career prospects and opportunities for professional growth.

More than 35 reputed hotels and resorts participated in the recruitment drive, including HRH Group, Wyndham Grand Udaipur, Ramee Royal Resort, Ananta Hotel & Resort and Hollymont Resort, along with several three- and four-star hotels and resorts across Udaipur.

Tourism and Employment to Receive a Fresh Boost

The event was attended as the chief guest by Mewar’s Maharani Sahiba, Nivritti Kumari Ji, who encouraged and blessed the participating youth. She said initiatives of this nature would strengthen Udaipur’s tourism industry while opening new avenues of employment for local young people.

Among the distinguished guests were former Federation of Hospitality and Tourism President Kuldeep Singh Chandela, Wyndham Grand Udaipur Vice President Vishal Kapoor, MLSU Vice Chancellor Prof. Kailash Daga, IMA President Dr. Anand Gupta, Training and Placement Centre Coordinator Prof. Meera Mathur, MLSU Co-Coordinator Dr. Sachin Gupta, RRCS Founder President Chef Vimal Dhar and Palm Valley owner Rajesh Mehta, among others.

The guests interacted with participants, encouraged them to explore the wide range of career opportunities available in the hospitality sector and emphasised the importance of further strengthening Udaipur’s position as one of India’s leading tourism destinations. The programme was conducted by Dr. Sachin Gupta.

Special appreciation was extended to RHC Founder Rajnikant Sharma, President Karan Singh, Founder Surendra Singh and Vice President Lal Singh Jhala, along with RRCS Founder President Chef Vimal Dhar, Chef Roth and their entire team.
