Udaipur: Urban Square Mall hosted ‘Urban Weekender’ over the weekend, offering residents and families an opportunity to enjoy food, entertainment and family-oriented activities beyond the usual shopping experience. The event witnessed participation from a large number of families and city residents.

A key highlight was the ‘Sweet & Savoury Festive Bites’ Family Chef Competition, organised by Tarika Bhanu Pratap, owner of She Circle India, along with Nirmala Soni and Karan Madhwani of Tastemakers India. More than 100 participants took part in the competition, presenting a variety of homemade dishes and showcasing their culinary skills, creativity and presentation.

Manveer Kapoor, General Manager of Wyndham Garden, attended the event as the chief guest. Vineet Chobisa, General Manager of Radisson, and Vikram Madhwani of Ashoka Group were present as special guests. The guests encouraged the participants and shared their experiences during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Nandini Taneja, CEO of Bhumika Enterprises, said that the objective of ‘Urban Weekender’ is to create an engaging environment where people and families can spend quality time together. She said the response to the food event reflects the growing interest among visitors in combining shopping with entertainment and new experiences. She added that more such events would be organised at the mall in the future.

As part of the ‘Urban Weekender’ initiative, Urban Square Mall is hosting a range of activities, including food events, family games, movie screenings, Tambola evenings and other community programmes.
