Udaipur : Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur, organized an induction and orientation program for newly admitted students to familiarize them with the academic, professional and institutional environment of the college.
Sai Tirupati University Vice Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain and Deputy Registrar Dr. Kanup priya Tiwari attended the program as guests.
Principal of the College of Nursing, Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, welcomed the new students and briefed them about the college’s academic system, curriculum, discipline and rules and regulations. He encouraged students to maintain regularity in their studies, uphold discipline and focus on quality education.
Vice Principal Dr. Chandra Prakash Dekawat said students’ goals should extend beyond academics. The knowledge and skills they acquire during their education can play an important role in contributing to society and nation-building. She encouraged students to develop into responsible, compassionate and professionally competent nursing professionals.
During the program, students were introduced to various departments of the college, academic activities and the educational facilities available on campus. They were also advised to give priority to discipline, time management and professional ethics throughout their academic journey.
Heads of various departments, professors, associate professors, assistant professors and other faculty members were present at the program.
The induction and orientation program aimed to help newly admitted students become familiar with the college’s academic and professional environment while providing them with positive guidance for a successful future.
