During a meeting held on Friday, Poonam Paliwal, founder of Aditi Stores and a member of the BCI family, was appointed President of BCI Yuva. Her tenure will be effective from January 1.
On the occasion, BCI Founder and Chairman Mukesh Madhwani stated that the organization’s objective is to connect young people with local and international business networks, enabling them to become future entrepreneurs. He added that BCI Yuva will organize specialized workshops, training programs, and networking events to promote startup culture.
BCI Global Managing Director Arif Sheikh said that the BCI Yuva platform will function as an incubation center for youth, providing business mentorship, resources, and practical guidance.
Newly appointed President Poonam Paliwal emphasized that her focus will be to inspire young people to move beyond traditional jobs toward self-employment and startups. She said BCI Yuva aims to become a platform that prepares job creators, not job seekers.
