Regional PF Commissioner Briefs Divisional Commissioner on Key Provisions

#### Review of Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana

In reference to the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, Prashant Kumar Sinha, In-charge Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Udaipur, met Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevalramani and shared detailed information about various aspects of the scheme.

Sinha informed that the scheme was formally launched by the Prime Minister on 15 August 2025. Under the scheme, all PF-covered establishments as well as units functioning in the manufacturing sector will receive an incentive of ₹1,000 to ₹3,000 per employee per month for creating additional new employment, for a total duration of four years, applicable until 31 July 2027.

Similarly, individuals entering employment for the first time will receive up to ₹15,000 per year, disbursed in two instalments directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. The Regional Commissioner requested that personnel working in government departments, public sector undertakings, and semi-government institutions be enrolled as PF members to ensure they receive the benefits of the scheme.

He further informed that under the Employee Enrollment Campaign 2025, employees who were in service between 1 July 2017 and 31 October 2025 but were not provided PF benefits can be enrolled as members between 1 November 2025 and 30 April 2026 by depositing only ₹100 as penalty, after which they will be regularised under the PF system.

According to Sinha, the primary objective of the scheme is to generate 3.5 crore new employment opportunities, strengthen the manufacturing sector, and enhance skill development across the country.

The registration process for PF-covered establishments across districts under the Udaipur Regional Office—Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, and Salumbar—is currently in progress. The target is to complete the process before 31 December so that maximum employers can benefit from the scheme.
