The 19th National Scout Guide Jamboree, organised under the aegis of Bharat Scouts and Guides National Headquarters, New Delhi, will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from 23 to 29 November.
Surendra Kumar Pandey, CO Scout and Deputy Contingent Leader of the Udaipur Division, informed that the Jamboree will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the closing ceremony will be graced by President Droupadi Murmu.
The event will feature a wide range of activities including Food Plaza, Tableau Presentation, Skillorama, Ethnic Events, Campfire, Scout–Guide Skill Competitions, March Past, Physical Display, Folk Dance, and Folk Culture. Preparations for the competitions are underway at the State-Level Rajasthan Sammelan Camp being conducted from 18 to 21 November at the State Training Centre, Jagatpura, Jaipur.
Led by State Chief Commissioner Niranjan Arya, a special train carrying 1,652 Scouts and Guides from Rajasthan will depart for Lucknow on 21 November.
From Udaipur district, Scouts from The Scholar Arena School, guided by Scout Master Bhagwati Lal Sahu, and Scouts led by Mangilal Gayari from Tulsi Amrit UMAVI Kanod, will represent the district.
