Udaipur:On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of AIM for Seva and Arsha Vidya Teertha, a special Vedic and devotional music evening titled “Ramam Bhaje” will be held today at 6:30 PM at the Auditorium of Geetanjali University, Udaipur. The programme will be presented by renowned Vedic and devotional singer Surya Gayatri.
The event is being organized with the courtesy of Mr. J. P. Agarwal, Chairman, Geetanjali Group, Udaipur. Along with its outstanding contribution in the field of medical services, the Geetanjali Group is widely recognized for its philanthropic initiatives in social service, education, and the preservation of cultural values. This musical evening reflects the group’s continued commitment to social and cultural upliftment.
The programme marks 25 years of service of AIM for Seva and Arsha Vidya Teertha in Rajasthan. Founded under the inspiration of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, AIM for Seva operates free hostels across several states of India, providing value-based education, discipline, self-confidence, and cultural grounding to children from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These hostels focus on the holistic development of students—academic, moral, and spiritual.
In Rajasthan, two AIM for Seva hostels are currently operational in Jaipur and Udaipur. Through these initiatives, more than 450 families have benefited, and children from remote tribal regions have gone on to pursue higher education and secure meaningful employment.
Surya Gayatri is widely acclaimed for her soulful renditions of Vedic chants and devotional music. Known for their classical discipline, emotional depth, and meditative quality, her performances create a serene and introspective atmosphere. Through “Ramam Bhaje”, she aims to guide listeners into a peaceful inner journey through mantra, devotion, and music.
According to the organizers, this event is a celebration of 25 years of dedication, service, and scriptural tradition upheld by AIM for Seva and Arsha Vidya Teertha in Rajasthan. The joint efforts of Arsha Vidya Teertha, AIM for Seva, and Geetanjali Medical College & Hospitals make this programme a meaningful confluence of service, education, culture, and spirituality.
As part of this continuing initiative, a new school project in Udaipur, including residential facilities for 500 students, is also being envisioned and developed.
A large participation of spiritual seekers, scholars, students, and eminent citizens of Udaipur is expected, making this musical evening a significant addition to the city’s cultural and spiritual landscape.
