###Geetanjali College & School of Nursing Hosts Grand Farewell Ceremony ‘Udgum’

Udaipur:Geetanjali College and School of Nursing organized a grand farewell ceremony titled “Udgum” on Monday, January 12, 2026, for the B.Sc. Nursing Fourth Year and M.Sc. Nursing Final Year students. The event was held at the Late Smt. Narmada Devi Agrawal Auditorium in an atmosphere filled with pride, nostalgia, and celebration.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Vijaya Ajmera, Dean, Geetanjali College & School of Nursing, who extended her best wishes to the students for a bright and successful future. Dr. Alok Rawat, Principal, Geetanjali College of Nursing, welcomed the dignitaries and encouraged students to achieve higher positions and bring laurels to the institution.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Rakesh Vyas, Vice Chancellor, Geetanjali University, Udaipur, highlighted the vital role of nurses in hospitals and healthcare systems, emphasizing compassion, dedication, and professionalism. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, Geetanjali School of Nursing, motivated students to remain focused on their goals and work towards a secure future.

Mr. Vijendra Singh Rathore, Nursing Superintendent, GMCH, inspired graduating students to apply the knowledge and skills gained during their academic journey wholeheartedly in patient care. The ceremony was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances presented by the students, showcasing their talent and creativity.

During the event, meritorious students were felicitated with awards and certificates for academic excellence and achievements in sports. Graduating students fondly recalled their memorable years of study, sharing emotional moments and experiences.

The programme was graced by Mr. Shakeeluddin Siddiqui, Advisor, Examination Cell; Dr. Rakesh Joshi, Controller of Examinations; Mr. Kamlesh Joshi, Administrative In-charge; along with faculty members and students of Geetanjali Nursing College.

The ceremony concluded with a warm farewell given by B.Sc. Nursing Third Year and M.Sc. Nursing First Year students, marking a meaningful send-off and a new beginning for the graduating batch.
