Hindustan Zinc Organises PF Awareness Seminar at Chanderiya

Chanderiya. Hindustan Zinc Limited, Chanderiya, organised a special seminar for employees and contractor representatives, addressed by Regional Commissioner Prashant Sinha from the Employees’ Provident Fund (PF) Department. The session aimed at enhancing awareness of PF regulations and introducing participants to the department’s newly launched initiatives.

During the seminar, Mr. Sinha provided detailed insights into the “Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana”, a new scheme introduced to encourage fresh employment across industries. He informed attendees that the scheme has been designed to extend various benefits to newly appointed employees, thereby supporting workforce expansion and formal job creation.

He further highlighted that more than 32 contractors have already benefited from the scheme, and a large number of registrations were completed during the seminar itself, reflecting strong participation and interest from stakeholders.

Other officers from the PF Department—G.L. Nagda, Prem Chandra, Vaibhav Kumar, and Jitendra—were also present and interacted with the participants, clarifying various procedural and operational matters.

Representing Hindustan Zinc Limited, Amit Surana (General Manager), Pawan Baheti (Chief Financial Officer), Mamta Sharma (Deputy Chief Human Resource Officer) and Roshan Ghosalia (Head – BP Management) attended the programme and appreciated the initiative aimed at strengthening awareness about employee welfare schemes.

The seminar served as an important platform for enhancing compliance, building understanding of government schemes, and supporting contractors as well as employees in accessing the benefits of national employment initiatives.
