204 Villagers Benefit from Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp Organised by Hindustan Zincp organised by Hindustan Zinc Limited at the Government Senior Secondary School, Nagari. The camp was conducted by Hindustan Zinc’s Chanderiya Smelting Complex under its CSR initiative, Swasthya Seva Project, in collaboration with Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child.

The health camp was facilitated through a mobile health van, ensuring access to specialist medical services near the villagers’ homes. A team of experienced doctors provided consultations, including gynecologist Dr. Smita Gaur, orthopedic specialist Dr. Ajaypal Saini, and general physician Dr. Sohit Rajoria.
During the camp, essential medical tests such as hemoglobin, blood pressure, and random blood sugar were conducted on-site. Free medicines were also distributed to patients based on medical advice.
Out of the 204 beneficiaries, 118 were women and 86 were men. Students, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens participated enthusiastically in the camp. The primary objective of the initiative was to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to rural communities, ensure early diagnosis of diseases, and promote awareness regarding treatment and prevention.
To strengthen primary healthcare access in rural areas, Hindustan Zinc, in association with Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child, operates a mobile health van covering 26 nearby villages. The service enables residents of remote areas to receive treatment and medicines for seasonal and common illnesses conveniently.
Hindustan Zinc has been delivering such healthcare services since 2018 as part of its sustained CSR efforts to improve community health and well-being.
