53rd National Security Week organized by Hindustan Zinc

Hindustan Zinc, the country's largest and sole integrated producer of zinc, lead, and silver, prioritizes security in its operations. Focusing on its commitment to security culture, the company observed the 53rd National Security Week under the leadership of Security Leadership for Excellence, as part of the theme. Various awareness workshops and training sessions were conducted involving employees, business partners, and surrounding communities.

During the week, Hindustan Zinc organized more than 70 security activities, including security rallies, security pledge ceremonies, street plays, stop-and-search campaigns, security exhibitions, workshops in schools, blood donation camps, run for safety events, eye check-up camps, No Vehicle Day, various competitions, poster making, poetry recitation, Who Will Be the EHS Champion, fire safety quizzes, primary medical quizzes, and slogan writing. The aim of these activities is to increase awareness and vigilance among all stakeholders about security measures.

Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta Group company, gives priority to the security of communities around its operational areas. The company's commitment to security was recently recognized with the prestigious International Security Award from the British Security Council, gaining global recognition.
