####Indian Railways Launches Seven Special Trains From Tamil Nadu to Varanasi for Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0

New Delhi:/To ensure large-scale participation in Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 and to strengthen the cultural bond between Tamil-speaking regions and the ancient spiritual city of Kashi, Indian Railways has launched a series of seven special trains connecting Kanyakumari, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Varanasi.

These special services are designed to provide seamless travel, long-distance comfort, and timely connectivity for participants attending the multi-day cultural immersion festival.

Phase-wise Train Schedule Begins

The services commenced on 29 November 2025, with the first special train departing from Kanyakumari. This was followed today by an additional special train from Chennai. Subsequent departures include:

3 December: From Coimbatore

6 December: From Chennai

7 December: From Kanyakumari

9 December: From Coimbatore

12 December: Another service from Chennai

With these planned departures, Indian Railways will operate a total of seven special trains from major Tamil Nadu cities to Varanasi in a structured and phased manner.

Return Services From Varanasi

To ensure timely return journeys, Indian Railways has also scheduled several special return services from Varanasi:

5 December: To Kanyakumari

7 December: To Chennai

9 December: To Coimbatore

11 December: To Chennai

13 December: To Kanyakumari

15 December: To Coimbatore

17 December 2025: Additional service to Chennai
