Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma welcomed the proposal to provide accommodation, medical assistance, and free meals to needy patients in Rajasthan, similar to those in Delhi

New Delhi. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma welcomed the proposal by Dr. Ram Avtar Kila, President of the Delhi Chapter of the Rajasthan Foundation, to establish accommodation, medical assistance, and free meals for needy patients from Rajasthan and nearby areas at the state's largest hospital, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, and other major hospitals in Jaipur, similar to those in Delhi. He also stated that this could be implemented in places near Delhi and Jaipur, such as Bharatpur, Alwar, Kotputli, Neemrana, Behror, and Ajmer.

Speaking to representatives of the Delhi Chapter after the Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas Conference in Jaipur, Chief Minister Sharma congratulated the entire team for their philanthropic work, providing free food and medical care to nearly 10 million people through the Akshay Seva program at AIIMS, Safdarjung, Ram Manohar Lohia, and Lady Hardinge Hospitals in New Delhi.

On this occasion, Dr. Kila informed Chief Minister Sharma that the Bhavrao Deoras Seva Trust has also constructed a Rogi Seva Kendra building in Rishikesh at a cost of ₹50 crore. If the Rajasthan government provides land and assistance, Rogi Seva Kendras could be developed in various districts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, to provide free food, medical assistance, and accommodation for attendants to those in need.

On this occasion, Navratan Agarwal, Director of the Bikanerwala Group, requested cooperation in developing new industrial parks of 100 acres in various locations to provide training in medicine and yoga, as well as skill development. Representing Delhi's leading social service organization, Rajasthan Ratnakar, and other organizations, G.N. Bhatt requested the construction of a Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Center at Udaipur House, near the Raj Niwas, modeled after the Gujarat government's Shah Auditorium and Guest House, and the Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan. He also requested the establishment of a mini-secretariat in Delhi, in accordance with the Chief Minister's announcement of a separate NRI department in Rajasthan, and the resumption of Volvo buses from Bikaner House.

Dr. Kila stated that the largest delegation of 313 members, courtesy of the Delhi Chapter, participated in various programs organized in Jaipur during the Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas Convention. Prominent members of the delegation included Delhi Chapter President Dr. Ram Avtar Kila, Dr. S.N. Chandak, Navratan Agrawal Bikanerwala, Sushila Kila, Rohit Bhardwaj, Rajesh Soni, Deepak Agrawal, Gopendra Nath Bhatt, V.D. Parikh, Shyam Bagri, Vikas Yadav, and L.P. Bothra, Vinod Bapna, Ramesh Bijarnia, Pawan Kumar Yadav, Pankaj Kejriwal, Kanishk Yadav, Jitendra Sankhla, etc.

The delegation met with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Bhupendra Yadav, Bhagirath Chaudhary, etc., as well as Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, State Minister KK Vishnoi, Energy Minister Gajendra Singh Khivsar, etc., at various conference events.

Dr. Kila invited Chief Minister Sharma to attend the grand Rajasthan Day celebration being organized by Rajasthan Mitra Mandal on March 15th in Delhi on Chaitra Pratipada this year as the chief guest.
