Patriotic Poetry Enthralls Udaipur Gathering

Udaipur witnessed a vibrant celebration of literature and music as the Shayarana Udaipur family organized its divisional-level literary समारोह at Aishwarya College campus. Known for its 15 years of free service in promoting art and literature, the मंच brought together renowned poets and literature lovers from across the region.

The event was graced by Chief Guest R.K. Jain, former Conservator of Forest, while Abha Sirsikar and C.P. Jain attended as special guests. The session was presided over by noted poet Geetankar Mewari. The समारोह turned emotionally rich as poets and guests presented their literary creations, leaving the audience deeply moved.

Chief Guest R.K. Jain also recited his composition and encouraged poets to contribute towards social transformation through creative writing. Literature enthusiasts from districts including Dungarpur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Kota, Udaipur, Kankroli, Pratapgarh, and Kherwara participated with enthusiasm, filling the venue with energy and appreciation.

According to program in-charge Abha Sirsikar, more than 40 poets participated, presenting poetry, ghazals, songs, and shayari. Her engaging anchoring, enriched with verses of Shringar Ras and Veer Ras, added vibrancy to the event.

A major highlight was the patriotic poetry presented by poets like Gulzar Chittorgarhi from Chittorgarh and Riyaz Khan from Dungarpur, which resonated strongly with the audience and created an electrifying atmosphere.

Chairperson Geetankar Mewari elevated the program with a heartfelt composition on friendship and relationships, while special guest poet C.P. Jain “Chandresh” moved the audience with his touching poem on the mother-child bond, offering deep emotional insight.

Program coordinator Lalit Goyal announced that Shayarana Udaipur will soon organize a Literature Festival to connect youth with literary arts and encourage creative expression.

Several poets and dignitaries, including Manish Chaubisa, Mukesh Parwana, Nilesh Yadav, Dr. Hukum Joshi, Jyotsna Jhala, R.P. Jeengar, Shamil Sheikh, Mahavir Jawaliya, Shahid Hussain Shaida, Shakeel Alauddin Jaipuri, Nishit Chaplot, Lokesh Vaishnav, Sohan Lal Lohar, and Vinod Kumar Rathore, presented their compositions.

Among them, Bharat Kumar Meena, an educationist from Kherwara, was specially honoured for his impactful literary contribution. His powerful poetry received widespread appreciation and applause from the audience.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by coordinator Lalit Goyal, marking the event as a memorable celebration of creativity, patriotism, and emotional expression through literature.
