Birthday Celebrated as a Festival of Service: Delhi University Student Priyanshi Jain Offers ‘Chhappan Bhog’ to 300 Cows

Udaipur, A unique and inspiring event was witnessed at Shivshankar Gaushala in Kaladwas, where a birthday turned into a meaningful act of compassion and tradition. Organized under the aegis of Guru Kamal Chand Roshan Gau Seva Trust, Delhi University student Priyanshi (Pranjal) Jain celebrated her birthday by offering “Chhappan Bhog” to nearly 300 cows, setting a remarkable example of service.

The event began with a ceremonial aarti of the cows, creating a spiritual ambiance. Trust founder Sanjay Jain welcomed the guests with traditional honors, including garlands, stoles, and turbans.

Event coordinator Sweety Jain Porwal shared that the Chhappan Bhog Campaign aims to spread awareness about cow care and promote cultural values among the younger generation.

Keynote speaker Baba Laxman Puri Maharaj described the initiative as highly inspiring, stating that dedicating occasions like birthdays to service helps instill values and compassion in children. He called it a beautiful blend of devotion, service, and culture.

Chief guest Gajpal Singh Rathore, BJP City District President, appreciated the initiative and said such events set a strong example for society. He especially praised the unique gesture of offering a milk-based cake to the cows.

Presiding over the event, Dr. Jinendra Shastri shared his vision of making Udaipur a leading center for cow care, adding that such initiatives strengthen the city’s cultural identity.

Distinguished guests including Dr. Mahavir Prasad Jain, Pt. Rishabh Jain Shastri, Bal Brahmachari Madhukanta Jain, Swati Jain, National Poet Ajat Shatru, and Dr. Seema Jain praised the event as a wonderful example of tradition, faith, and service.

In the end, Sanjay Jain expressed gratitude to all guests, saints, and supporters, and reaffirmed the commitment to continue such service initiatives.

The event saw active participation from cow caregivers and community members, delivering a strong message that celebrations gain true meaning when they are dedicated to service and compassion.
