New Features Added in BLO App to Improve Verification Process

Online Enumeration Made Easier with Release of 2002 Voter List Database

Udaipur. As part of the special intensive revision of electoral rolls, enumeration forms are being distributed and collected through door-to-door visits across the district. At the same time, voters are being encouraged to submit their enumeration forms online. The process has now become easier, especially for those whose names—or the names of their parents or grandparents—appeared in the 2002 SIR voter list.

While submitting the online enumeration form, applicants are required to enter specific details from the 2002 voter list such as the name of the constituency, part number and serial number of their own or their parents’/grandparents’ entries. To simplify this search, the district administration has released a dedicated URL that enables voters in all Assembly constituencies of Udaipur district to locate entries from the 2002 voter list using old EPIC numbers, names or father’s names.

New Features in BLO App

A new version of the BLO app (8.77) has been released, introducing two major features to streamline the verification process:

Online Forms Filled by Elector:
This option displays a list of voters who have independently submitted their enumeration forms online. BLOs can check the details entered and, upon verification, mark them as Found OK and submit them.

Re-Verify Filled EF / Unmap the Elector:
This feature shows all voters whose enumeration forms have been mapped or digitised. BLOs can unmap entries through this option whenever required.

Meeting with Low-Progress BLOs

The Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Assistant ERO of Assembly Constituency Vallabhnagar-155 held a meeting on Wednesday with BLOs showing minimal progress, along with concerned officials. Booth No. 234 at Kanod was also inspected. During the meeting, it was emphasised that verification of online-submitted enumeration forms by BLOs has been made mandatory. Moreover, instead of showing the total number of forms received, reports will now reflect the number of online forms pending at the BLO level. All BLOs have been instructed to clear pending online verification tasks promptly.
