####Udaipur to Host ‘Rajasthan Tourism Samman 2026’ on March 21; Industry Leaders to Gather

Udaipur: With the objective of promoting sustainable growth, innovation, and responsible tourism in Rajasthan, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is set to organize the grand ‘Rajasthan Tourism Samman 2026’ on March 21, 2026, in Udaipur.

The prestigious event will bring together leading personalities from the tourism and hospitality industry, including hoteliers, travel professionals, tour operators, restaurateurs, hospitality experts, and tourism entrepreneurs from across the country.

This event will not only recognize excellence in the tourism sector but will also serve as an important platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and networking among stakeholders. It aims to encourage new ideas, innovation, and improved service standards within the industry.

Awards Across 35+ Categories
According to Mukesh Madhavani, Divisional Convener of PHDCCI Rajasthan (Udaipur Region), the scope of this year’s awards has been significantly expanded. More than 35 categories will honor individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions in tourism and hospitality.

He further highlighted that, for the first time, professionals from culinary arts and the food and restaurant industry will also be included, ensuring recognition of this vital segment of the tourism ecosystem. Industry stakeholders are encouraged to submit their nominations and be part of this prestigious recognition.

Promoting Innovation in Tourism
The primary objective of the event is to acknowledge individuals and institutions that have made notable contributions in innovation, quality service, and responsible tourism. By showcasing such efforts, the platform aims to inspire others and strengthen Rajasthan’s tourism sector, making it more competitive and dynamic.

Active Participation of Business Circle International
Business Circle International (BCI) will play a key role in the आयोजन. Dr. Shraddha Gattani, Tourism Chairperson of BCI, stated that the organization will participate as the Hospitality Partner through the International Business Circle, contributing to the success of the event. She emphasized that such initiatives help bring together diverse stakeholders and open new avenues for collaboration and growth.

Winners to be Selected by Esteemed Jury
R.K. Gupta, Resident Director of PHDCCI Rajasthan, informed that a high-level jury has been constituted to select the award winners. The jury will be chaired by Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, former Tourism Secretary to the Government of India and a retired IAS officer.

The evaluation will be based on multiple parameters, including quality, innovation, service standards, and overall contribution to the tourism sector, ensuring that only truly deserving individuals and organizations are honored.
