"I Have Entered Politics for Serving the Common People": Meena

Udaipur: Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, the rural district Congress spokesperson in Udaipur, disclosed that a meeting of workers was organized on Wednesday in support of Congress candidate Shri Tarachand Meena from the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency. The meeting took place in the areas of Nandeshma, Punavali, Sayra, Bhomat Devla, and Bekariya Mandal.

Addressing the gathering, Congress candidate Shri Tarachand Meena from the Udaipur Lok Sabha seat stated, "I have entered politics for the service of the common people. Even during my 35 years of administrative service, I have served the common man. During this time, I have understood the pain of the common man." Meena mentioned that he had previously served as the first tribal collector of Udaipur in Mewar. During my administrative service, I have spent the amount of salary for many poor and helpless families." He promised that if elected in the Lok Sabha elections, he would leave no stone unturned in solving the problems at the national, state, and local levels.

Speaking at the meeting, Lal Singh Jhala, the General Secretary of the Pradesh Congress Committee, said, "The government of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was sensitive and transparent. The previous Congress government made many schemes for the welfare of the common people. These schemes were implemented but since the BJP government came to power in the state, those people-friendly schemes have been discontinued."

In the meeting, former minister Dr. Mangilal Garasia said, "During the Gehlot government, many schemes such as free mobile distribution to women, social security pension, and free electricity were implemented. Instead of the Annapurna food packet, the BJP government is distributing empty bags with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name on them."

Present at the meeting were Congress candidate Tarachand Meena from the Lok Sabha constituency, Pradesh Congress General Secretary Lal Singh Jhala, Sayra Pradhan Savaram Gameti, District Council member Narpat Singh Champawat, Block Congress Committee President Ramsingh Chadana, Mandal Congress Committee President Nika Ram Garasia, Champaram Garasia, Om Prakash Joshi, Kiran Singh, Jabbar Singh Chadana, Barkat Ali, Nathulal Meghwal, Shail Singh Ranawat, Sumer Singh, Jeevan Singh Dasana, Hitesh Joshi, Bhanaram Garasia, Shivshankar Paliwal, Inder Prakash Shrimalli, Joshi Ram Garasia, Bhimaram Garasia, Punaram, Hansaram Garasia, Kiran Garasia, among others.
