Udaipur: In a proud moment for the city, 35 talented women athletes from Udaipur will represent Rajasthan at the West Zone Asmita Khelo India Pencak Silat League 2026, scheduled to be held on February 24–25, 2026, in Daman, Gujarat.
The championship is being organized under the Government of India’s Khelo India Mission, aimed at encouraging and empowering women in sports. According to Harish Kumar Sanwaria, Chief Secretary of the Udaipur Pencak Silat Association, the league will witness participation from Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories, with Udaipur’s players showcasing their strength, discipline, and determination on the national stage.
The selected athletes include Bhavya Handeriya, Meghashi Kawadiya, Arpita, Kinjal Patel, Rudrakshi Sharma, Pratyusha Singh, Siddheshwari Singh, Niharika Chundawat, Kanishka Kunwar, Himanshi Menaria, Riddhi Bilochi, Ikra Naaz, Shivani Jain, Erika Singh Rao, Pooja Meghwal, Shanaya Jain, Aadhya Kotha, Pakhi Jain, Cejna Khan, Anjali Sahu, Dipanshi Menaria, Deepika Nayak, Vatsala Sharma, Netri Vyas, Pranshi Prajapat, Kritika Seedhal Nayak, Sharvi Pandya, Hineesha Menaria, Laranya Pathak, Khyati Bhatt, Nathi Devi, Chahal Menaria, Namrata Kawadiya, and Dhruvi Singhvi.
