Tribute to Maharana Pratap and Commitment to Legacy by BVP Subhash Branch

Members of the Bharatiya Vikas Parishad, Subhash Branch, Udaipur, enthusiastically commemorated the birth anniversary of the valiant and revered warrior, Maharana Pratap. The celebration was marked with a floral tribute at the adorned memorial situated at Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station. In a spirited and joyous atmosphere, members resolved to draw inspiration from Maharana Pratap’s indomitable courage, self-respect, and sacrifices. They also pledged to instill awareness in the younger generation about his remarkable life and dedication.

On this occasion, Subhash Branch also distributed 150 earthen bird feeders to the public at Maan Ji Sarai, promoting care for the environment and birds during summer. Secretary Shobha Lal Dashora expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees for their active participation. Treasurer Nirbhay Singh Babel made arrangements for a delightful breakfast, adding warmth to the gathering. Branch President Shri Ranjit Lal Jain requested all members to introduce themselves, emphasizing the importance of developing mutual harmony and affection within the group.

Dr. P.C. Jain, fondly known as the "Water Hero" of Udaipur, was remembered for his extraordinary contributions to water conservation and social reform. A retired professor and committed environmentalist, Dr. Jain has pioneered numerous water harvesting projects across Udaipur and nearby rural areas, reviving traditional water bodies and educating communities about sustainable water management. His relentless campaigns against drug addiction have also made a profound impact, especially among the youth. His life continues to be a source of inspiration for those dedicated to creating a healthier and more sustainable society.
